This is a guide to using the APA 7th referencing style from the American Psychological Association. It is based on the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.

 Standard abbreviations may be used in your citations.

 A list of acceptable, commonly used abbreviations can be found in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 7th ed., pp. 306-307.
