Our Mission:
The WSU LIS provide information resources and services to WSU students, staff and researchers in direct support of the academic project by:
- Enabling uninterrupted discovery and access to scholarly information through multiple mediums.
- Promote advanced data, information and research literacy programmes for student success and research capacity development.
- Offering expert support and education to find, evaluate, use, and manage information resources.
- Creating and sustaining high-quality spaces for learning, collaboration, and research; and
- Leading and actively participating in partnerships for national and global initiatives that inform and shape the future of libraries and scholarly communications.
- We empower our users to discover, access, evaluate, use and create new knowledge to better the world.
- Management of information resources and long-tern preservation of scholarship.
